Here are some key highlights of the ESP32-S3 Box: Whether you're designing smart home devices, wearables, or industrial IoT solutions, the ESP32-S3 Box provides the robust performance and scalability you need. With the ESP32-S3 Box, you can harness the power of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a host of peripheral interfaces to seamlessly connect your product to the digital world. Designed by Espressif Systems, a pioneer in the industry, this compact and powerful device is set to revolutionize the way we build and create. The ESP32-S3 Box is a cutting-edge microcontroller solution that brings unrivaled connectivity and versatility to your projects. Placing VIAs later on when there are already tracks present on inner layers can get very tricky and often requires the already routed tracks to be re-done. I usually place all the necessary VIAs close to components before putting down the first track.

This in turn leads to a lot of the routing needing to be re-done later in the layout if the placement of all components wasnÂŽt fixed beforehand.ÄȘnother factor that might cause delays in the layout phase is when the fanout of the components was not finished before routing.

This is caused by the fact that early in the PCB design the space requirements and interconnect style for all functional blocks is pretty hard to estimate, even with a good planning before starting the layout. Often times though this leads to inefficient use of space and unnecessary complex/long routing between separate blocks. It might be tempting to place and route functional blocks sequentially. This is especially true for more complex boards with a high component density where separate functional blocks have to be placed close to each other. When designing PCBs placing all the components before routing the first track can save a lot of time in my experience.
